Bail
If you are charged with a criminal offence, you need to be granted bail otherwise you will be remanded in custody as your matter progresses through the courts. In many cases, this can take over a year.
The only way to remain in the community until the case is resolved is to be granted bail.
While some bail applications are heard in the Magistrates Court nearest to where the alleged offending occurred, more serious charges can only be heard in a Supreme Court.
Our experienced Bell Dore criminal team are experienced at making successful bail applications in both courts, including as solicitor advocates in the Supreme Court.
We will help you to remain in work, with your family and get any other help you may need as your criminal matter progresses through the courts.
