Adrian Dore
Adrian is one of Brisbane’s leading family and divorce lawyers, having been recognised by the Doyle’s Guide to the Australian Legal Profession in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
Through his vast family law experience, Adrian is also a skilled advocate in the area of domestic violence and understands the sensitivity required in handling these matters.
Adrian understands that the end of a relationship is a stressful and emotional time. Going through separation and divorce can also be complicated.
Adrian simplifies the process and guides you through each step in a pragmatic and empathetic way. He is focussed on finding amicable solutions in a timely way, while also minimising legal costs.
Unfortunately some matters aren’t able to be resolved out of court and litigation is required. Adrian has a wealth of experience in this area to assist you to achieve the best possible outcome.
In addition to his work in family law, Adrian also has a wealth of experience in estate planning and administration.

Jarrod Bell
Jarrod is a highly-respected and skilled criminal, traffic, domestic violence and wills and estates lawyer. He appears daily in courts across Queensland to represent clients who have been charged with a range of criminal and traffic offences, from drink-driving and stealing to drug trafficking to murder.
In criminal, traffic and domestic violence matters, Jarrod is a passionate advocate, fighting for his clients throughout every step the legal process.
He has a wealth of experience in the Magistrates, District, Supreme Courts of Queensland and has even been involved in cases in the High Court of Australia. Jarrod regularly appears as solicitor advocate in Supreme Court bail applications as well.
Jarrod worked for one of the state’s oldest and most well-respected boutique law firms for eight years before partnering with Adrian Dore to start Bell Dore Lawyers.
In wills and estates matters, Jarrod is very experienced in handling all matters from protecting the future of his clients by assisting them with all of their estate planning and will drafting needs, through to representing clients in estate disputes and litigation.
Jarrod’s background in general legal practice means he is also an expert in several other areas of law, on an ad hoc basis.
Jarrod is friendly, approachable and non-judgemental. He gives honest, direct and realistic advice so you know where you stand from the outset, through to the finalisation of your matter.
Kirstyn Nicholson
Kirstyn works as a solicitor at Bell Dore Lawyers.
She completed a double degree in law and criminology and criminal justice at Griffith University.
Kirstyn was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2019 while she was working at Bell Dore Lawyers.
Prior to her admission, Kirstyn worked for several years assisting some of Brisbane’s most well-respected solicitors in wills and estates, family and criminal law.
She primarily practices within the criminal, domestic violence and traffic law areas, assisting people who have been charged with a wide range of matters, including everything from traffic offences and minor drug charges, through to drug trafficking, violent offences and serious sexual offences.
As well as being confident, diligent and honest, Kirstyn also handles all client matters with the utmost compassion and professionalism.
She understands how stressful the court process can be and as such, puts her clients first in all that she does.
Kirstyn is passionate about ensuring her clients are well-informed about the law and processes as their matter progresses.
